* Editor's Commentaries - #93 There's nothing like a college education to start your adult life off right, Right?

What's the Question?  Stay 'tuned,' for the editor's answer.

.  In case you have not noticed the public indoctrination foisted upon the people of the USofA from all corners, e.g., federal and state governments, news media...it is a "fact" that higher formal education in the form of college is an absolute good, though the truth of that proposition is dubious at best.

How many parents in the USofA Today are intent upon their children attending college, and instill the importance of attending college in their children?  This despite the corruptive, corrosive influence that is nearly universal across the nation's colleges and universities, i.e., the overt corruption of values and morals, the sexual immorality....

It is one thing for parents to emphasize that higher education will typically translate to preferable employment; higher income,  benefits, and perquisites; elevated social status; and thus a more rewarding, prosperous, luxurious, comfortable, pleasant, easy life; however, it is quite another thing for parents to teach their children that college is indispensable, or necessarily a wise choice for them.  From a worldly wise perspective, college is desirable, for the reasons listed above; but, from God's perspective it is very doubtful.  Have you ever heard, "What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?"

If the Lord teaches that it is utterly disastrous for a man to lose his soul in exchange for the gain of the entire world, do you imagine that it is less disastrous to lose one's soul for the pursuit of a mere college degree?

.  A cautionary tale of how terribly and immediately one girl's life was destroyed at college.

Mere days into her college experience freshman Mia Henderson was brutally murdered by her 18-year-old dormitory roommate Galareka Harrison.  Mia made the mistake of accusing Galareka of stealing from her, filing a police report, and demanding that either she or Galareka be relocated; obviously Galareka never would have done such a sinful thing as to steal from Mia!  Mia compounded her mistake by opting to stay in the same room with Galareka instead of moving to a different room.  Galareka went out and bought a knife; forged a note purporting to be written by Mia, in which she "confessed to falsely accusing innocent Galareka," and stated that she intended to kill herself; Galareka then entered the dormitory room, placed the forged suicide note on Mia's desk, and attacked Mia who was sleeping, inflicting multiple stab wounds to Mia; Mia awoke and attempted to defend herself, but died from the brutal stabbing at the hands of innocent Galareka.

Was this an unbelievably stupid crime?  Yes.  Was it carefully premeditated?  Yes.  Was it an unspeakably evil crime?  Yes.

But don't worry, there are plenty of lawyers who will happily "defend" Galareka, and do everything they can to see to it that Galareka has many more opportunities to murder good people.

Yes, our universities continue to grace our nation with a plethora of wicked lawyers, wicked judges, wicked politicians....

As God's Holy Word further attests, "Satan came only to steal, and murder, and destroy."  And Satan's children, Satan's people, Satan's servants, Satan's minions, do as their god Satan has, does, and will do until the Lord deals permanently with him.

  Occasionally I think while standing up, walking, or even chewing gum, though I can't say I necessarily do my best thinking while exerting myself in these ways - Editor/Ed.

Boys are so silly, I prefer to do my deep thinking, reflection, ruminating, and meditation, while I am reclining at length in the tub, preferably with several servants to attend to my every whim and need.  [One must be careful to only think in moderation while soaking, though, lest one should turn into a prune!]  Umm, I wonder if those silly hunky stone-age boys are thinking about me?  If they think they can use me like I'm some worthless disposable thing, they've got another thing coming!

{No, bathing beauty.  If I had a lady like you to think about (but a little less "hard-bodied"), I wouldn't manage to think of anything else.  It is true, God does work in mysterious ways.}

Al's secret to his superior thinking - sitting down.

 Ah yes, now I see the resemblance between Albert Einstein and CBM's Editor, they are both hard-bodied hunks (almost as if chiseled out of stone) and undeniably dreamers.
