Observations, Synthesis, Thoughts, & Conclusions
As I find time to do so, I will add scriptures to this page (and to many other pages), but for the time being these scriptures will have to do.
"The names of God" are taught variously by ministers, Bible teachers...in churches, affiliations of churches, denominations, bible schools, and theological seminaries aka divinity schools. And though I may address them one day, here I am referring to something else again when I state "The LORD's names."
You likely are aware that typically "Lord" refers to God the Son; Jesus Christ; Jesus the Christ; Jesus of Nazareth; Jesus Christ of Nazareth; Christ Jesus; Christ; the Messias; the Messiah; Emmanuel, God with us; the Son of man; the Lamb of God...and that "LORD" refers to God the Father. But though various Bible teachers may teach that "Lord" always refers to God the Son, there are many exceptions to whom "Lord" refers to in the Bible. The following selections of scripture from the Holy Bible include examples of each.
A sampling of scriptures from The Old Testament & The New Testament
"Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more: And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword."
"Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence"
"The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it."
"I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God."
The Book Of Daniel
"In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god."
The Gospel According To St. Luke
"And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour."
"Now Elizabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her."
"And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people. And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;"
Acts of the Apostles
""The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the father, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you."
"And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together. For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy hold child Jesus."
"And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)"
"But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,"
"And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold. Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground."
"Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things?"

Observations, Synthesis, Thoughts, & Conclusions, regarding .
So in these passages you have: Lord, LORD, his Christ, thy hold child Jesus, Lord GOD, Lord GOD of hosts, Lord God of Israel, LORD thy God, God my Saviour. To divide these names one way, you have:
Lord, his Christ, thy hold child Jesus, Lord GOD, Lord GOD of hosts
LORD, LORD thy God
Now the question is this: are Lord, Lord GOD, and, Lord GOD of hosts, referring to Jesus, or are they referring to God the Father the same as LORD, and, LORD thy God?
If Lord in these passages is referring to Jesus, are Lord GOD, and, Lord GOD of hosts, also referring to Jesus, or referring to God the Father?
A recognized convention in the New Testament is that Lord refers to Jesus Christ, God the Son; and that LORD refers to God the Father; this is typically the case in the Old Testament too, but not necessarily the case.
In Daniel 1:1-2 Lord refers to God the Father, the God of Israel.
In Luke 1:57-58 Elizabeth's neighbours and cousins heard how the Lord, namely the God of Israel, God the Father, had shewed mercy to Elizabeth in her old age (to take away her reproach among men).
Likewise, in Acts 4:26-30 Lord unmistakably refers to God the Father, "The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ."!
Regardless, it is vitally, essentially important to note that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost have been in total, complete agreement, and worked together in unison since the beginning of time.
Many churches disregard most of the Old Testament and also much of the New Testament to vainly try to away with the judgment of God as communicated, acted, and prophesied by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, that is, to do away with the harshness and severity of God...whereas they emphasize the mercy, love, and compassion of God in a vacuum apart from the condemnation and eternal suffering Christ came to save us from. Those who teach such things are responsible to God for wrongly and falsely teaching God's Word.
Again, when time allows, I will add additional scriptural support....
